Delcard Associates is equipped with a state of the art fully
automated 40,000 sq. ft. sheet metal shop with a 5-foot Iowa
Precision Coil-Line. This high tech piece of fabrication equipment
processes metal from 26 gauge through 18 gauge galvanized and 22
gauge perforated. It will level, notch, punch holes for tie-rods and
bead the duct.

Then it will turn either a TDC
flange or slip & drive connector. The machine also has the option of
applying glue, liner and insulation pins before breaking the duct in
L-sections or a full wrap.

Our sheet metal shop is also equipped with a 20-foot plasma
cutter, shear, break, rollers, stand-alone lock formers and our new
computerized liner cutting station capable of cutting out lining
shapes to match those produced from our plasma cutter in any
thickness with speeds up to 1000 inches per minute. We also stock flat sheets up
to 10 gauge galvanized, stainless from 24 gauge to 18 gauge and
aluminum from .040 to 080 in 5-foot sheets to meet any of our
client’s requirements.
In addition, we also have a complete welding shop with T.I.G. and
M.I.G. machines to satisfy requests for welded black iron grease
duct or stainless Steel kitchen exhaust duct. Whether our customers
need one fitting or an entire job, our shop and skilled mechanics
can produce the highest quality welded duct and deliver it right to
the job site or have it ready for pick up at our facility. We will
do whatever it takes to help our clients meet their schedule.
Our check off system for duct and materials ensuring accurate
orders for pick up or delivery to your facility or job site. We are
outfitted with several tractor-trailers to accommodate larger
deliveries quickly. Orders can be delivered with all necessary
assembly and hanging materials if needed.

holding various positions. Jim is responsible for shop
productions and delivery requirements as well as manpower needs in
the shop. He assists Mike Toy in the production reporting,

Joe manages the entire sheet metal department. He has over 25
years of industry and management experience. Joe continually
analyzes operations, communication, scheduling techniques,
standards, inefficiencies, quality control and technology. He
focuses on overall customer satisfaction, drafting department
accuracy and shop/field team coordination. |
