The Delaware State Police Troop 2 facility is a state of the art
barracks consisting of a 53,000 square foot main building and a
7,000 square foot maintenance facility. Among the features contained
in this facility are its own gasoline dispensing system, a full
service automobile fleet maintenance building, a community/lecture
room, fitness center, prisoner cells and men’s and women’s locker
rooms/showers. The architect's creative use of radius walls and
cathedral ceilings at the entrance to the facility create a sleek
and modern appearance for the main structure.
Delcard was responsible for the plumbing and HVAC for both
buildings which included all underground and above ground plumbing
and HVAC piping and 70, 909 lbs. of sheet metal.
