As the sheet metal subcontractor on this project,
Delcard was responsible for installing 19,000 pounds of ductwork
into an extremely limited space. The ductwork was fabricated in our
own sheet metal shop after our fully-staffed AutoCAD department
redesigned the ductwork to fit more efficiently within the truss
system that filled the area behind the walls and ceiling space. Our
AutoCAD department did some intricate design work on the computer so
our team in the shop could custom fabricate the ductwork from these
drawings. Practically all of the sheet metal ductwork had to be
installed in a ceiling over 50 feet in the air.
