Delcard Associates was contracted for this project
largely because of their expertise in sound and vibration isolation
of mechanical equipment; special ductwork designs; and sound
attenuation of HVAC systems via the use of attenuators and duct
lining. The 92,000 sf. facility includes a 5,000-square-foot
orchestra hall, 32 student sound proof practice rooms, a recital
hall for as many as 200 patrons in its 2,400-square-foot seating
area as well as a 670-square-foot stage and a 450-seat proscenium
theatre.
