The new 57,000 square foot space expands the
emergency department of this hospital from 18 to 36 beds, the
critical care unit is increased from 12 to 20 beds and an additional
42 medical surgical beds are now available.
Delcard Associates played the vital role in
providing the complete plumbing and HVAC systems that supported this
addition. The new addition houses a new medical air and vacuum
system for the entire hospital as well. The Delcard team fabricated
and installed 92,000 lbs of sheet metal duct. The new steam pressure
reducing station, used to manage the steam to make that hot water
conversion was fabricated in Delcard’s pipe fabrication facility. |
