The new $8 million dollar 44,500 s.f. Arts Center at St. Andrew’s
School provides a permanent home for the Arts Department. Over half
of the students at St. Andrews School are enrolled in classes
ranging from painting to film studies to music theory. The
students participate in the co-curricular arts organizations,
sharing their passions for music or drama with audiences on campus
and beyond. |

The School orchestra, only in its
second year, boasts 25 musicians, and jazz ensemble, 15. Over 20
students participate each term in theater production and 65 sing in
the chorale and concert choir. The new Arts Center will accommodate
all of these programs beautifully, with a 380-seat performance hall
and state-of–the-art, acoustically engineered rehearsal rooms for
orchestra, small ensembles and voice ensembles.
